Why No Man Wants To Marry You

Are you are still single while your friends are busy getting married every Saturday? Hmm.. I know its quite disturbing. Don't worry, this short write-up will help you know where you're going wrong. And if you do something about it, you will get so many suitors as soon as possible. Read on..

12 Reasons No Man Wants To Marry You:

1. You're not appreciative. He sacrifices for you, buys you expensive things, yet you don't appreciate? Very soon he will get tired of you.

2. You ask for too much. There are some things you need to do on your own. Show him you can take care of the family and the kids; when he's out.

3. You are not submissive. Are you the disrespectful and disobedient type? I don't care if you are President's daughter.. The man is always the head of the house.. The earlier you give him some respect, the better.

4. You are looking for Mr Perfect. Let me ask you.. Are you perfect? I'm Sure you're not. Nobody is perfect. Not me, not you. Get used to it..

5. You don't have a job. Don't depend on a man all the time..Ladies should learn to be independent.. it is not pride But Self Respect. Get a handwork dear.

6. You look desperate. Your parents and friends are asking you frustrating questions about marriage, and you are so sick of those questions so you'll do anything to get the next available guy to marry you. You need a man so badly. Well, let me tell you, the more desperate you are, the less attractive men find you.

7. You are bad with kids. You hate kids? Sorry for you! A woman’s beauty is captured in her ability to nurture.

8. You pay too little attention to your appearance. You wear excessive make-up, your dressing is too awful, you you don't have a good hygiene? Hmm.. Im shaking my head for you oh..

9 You're not supportive. A man wants a woman who helps boost his ego, listens to him and encourages him, just like his mother used to do. So, if you cant support him, forget that engagement ring.

10. You don't get along with his family. If you are not easy going with his family? Hmm.. Marrying him is a dream that may never come through oh.

11. You are bad in the bedroom. Each time he talks about sex, you act like he has just committed a crime, because you are a virgin or you don’t want him to think you're loose. It only make him wonder how boring you are in bed. Please please please, I'm not saying you should have sex, all I'm saying is you should give him a hint that you can satisfy him sexually either practically or by insinuations.

12. You're always mean. You're too boring, You hardly smile.. You hardly play. You're just too difficult.

Take it or leave it, this is what men hate in women. What you do with this information is entirely up to you. Have fun.

How do I Get a Girl to Like me?

Guys at some point in their lives always ask this question and for good reason. Sometimes, women are just so hard to figure out and unless you have lots of experience with them, you wont know how to get their attention. If you're currently facing this problem, Lucky you! help has come!

Here are 11 Sure Ways to Get A Girl To Like You:

1. Have your own life: Girls with a strong sense of purpose and self-worth don't like guys who have no lives or who cling to them. focus on filling your time with your own friendships, interests, hobbies, and goals. This also gives her a chance to do something with you without it becoming a date.

 2. Keep your body in good shape.
Women hate guys who look out of shape. Not only is it unattractive, but it also makes you seem like you can’t protect them. No matter how independent a woman may seem, she always wants a man that she feels secure with. I'm not saying you should look like one of these heavy weight champions, but you should try to keep your body looking tight. Visit the gym once or twice a week. Keep fit. It makes you look sexier.

3. Speak to her:
This is a scary step, but It's the only way you can get her attention. Now that you’ve groomed yourself and boosted your confidence, you're free to approach her and get her attention. If this is your first time talking to her, then don’t over talk her and don’t be too quiet.
Here is my reason: When you talk too much, it will look as if you don’t want to hear what she has to say. And when you are too quiet, it will look as if you don’t have much personality. This guide will help you: Tips for Starting and Engaging in a Conversation With a Girl you Like.

4. Listen Attentively: This is very important because it will show that you care. When having a conversation with her, look her in the eyes, nod and give facial expressions that match the mood. Listen actively, because it will help you to gather important information about the woman of your dreams.

5. Get Her Phone Number: After having a good conversation, try asking for her phone number, so that the two of you can continue chatting.
You can also ask for her email address, Facebook name, BB pin, etc..

6. Compliment Her:
Try to make the compliment unique. So, try to find something about her that stands out. Don't make your compliments excessive. Avoid telling her she is beautiful too often because it will quickly lose its meaning. You can focus on pointing out things about her personality – this will show that you are paying attention to what’s inside and not just on the outside.

7. Impress her:
One of the best ways for how to make her like you is to impress her. Don’t boast too much, but give small piece of achievements you’ve accomplished or future goals that may be impressive. Don’t forget to be confident oh.

8. Touch Her:
Avoid touching sensual areas like the breasts, buttocks and thighs. Focus on her hands, arms and shoulders. Don't do this the very first day you meet her, but as conversations continue on and you meet with her a couple of times, you can advance to the next level.

9. Test Her:
To see if she is starting to like you back, you can try hinting around how she feels about you. Say small jokes that have a double meaning and see if she smiles or gives a total look of disagreement. This should be done after a mutual attraction is felt. Please be light and playful when you make jokes and suggestions.

10. Take things easy:
Nice girls take a while to develop certain feelings about a guy, so give her time to adjust to you and to see if she wants to be with you. Make her feel relaxed and feel like she is in control. She will remember this if and when the two of you get into a relationship, and she will Love more you for it.

11. Ask Her on a Date:

By now, you should know if she is interested in you or not. She is likely waiting for you to ask her, so do it! Invite her to dinner, or anywhere that you think she would enjoy. This is the right time to get more intimate with your conversations, but not too Intimate oh..

How To Text Your Crush

Image result for crush on someone
So here are some things to consider when texting your crush so you don’t scare him or her off.

1. Don’t Be Wordy

If you had just met someone and they were sending you essays via text, wouldn’t it come off as a bit needy? Save the long convos for when you are on a date and just keep the texts simple, short and to the point.

Try to just keep things short but use real words instead of pictures so you don’t shorten it too much. Remember, when he’s not around you, he doesn’t necessarily have time to stop and read long drawn out messages and sending them will be very annoying to him. Just tell him you are excited to see him and set a time to get together. Think of texting more like using a pager, keep the words to a minimum.

2. Don’t Share Useless Stuff
One thing girls do that really annoys guys is texting them every time they have a mood change. Do you really think he wants to hear, “oh my god I’m so pissed!” or “my boss is annoying me so much!” ? No he doesn’t. Only share positive things with him and don’t text him all day dear. It will scare him off. You need to have other interests besides texting him.

Try not to send him a picture of every meal you eat or every funny thing that happens to you during your day. Be present when you’re not with him and realize it’s good to have some technological separation.

3. Share Uplifting Tidbits

Texting, just like talking in person, is sharing energy. So share things that will make his day better (in moderation). You can share an inspiring quote or just wish him a great day. It’s ok to be sweet but don’t smother him with sappy texts so they no longer surprise him ok?

Sharing a photo with a positive quote is a nice thing to do or sharing a picture of the two of you. Look at your texts as an opportunity to be kind, to share something that might really help him or something that will help the two of you get to know each other better.

If you find something cool that you want to do with him, that’s an uplifting thing that he would get excited about. If you have a million things to do, don’t send him a list of everything you’re doing. He really doesn’t need to know that and it will only take you that much longer to get everything done.

4. Don’t Complain

This is a big black hole that you don’t want to get sucked into. Instead of complaining about the people or things in your day, follow the rule that Thumper told us in the Disney movie ‘Bambi.’ If you don’t have anything nice to say, don’t say anything at all. Just think of complaining as whining and draining his energy. No one wants to get negative text messages. It’s a real buzz kill!

One of guys’ biggest pet peeves is having a girl that feels like nothing is good enough. If you always focus on what goes wrong in your day, it just makes a negative vibe. If you’re always talking about who made you mad or why you didn’t deserve something, people just aren’t going to want to be around you. Be someone that always puts a smile on other people’s faces and it will improve all your relationships!

5. Be Direct

That’s right, just say how you feel. If you want to invite him to something, just do it. If you want to know why he hasn’t contacted you, just ask him. Don’t be in the dark if you’re wondering something, just speak up. Relationships shouldn’t be shrouded in mystery and if he’s keeping you in the dark, kick his disrespectful tail to the curb!

6. Don’t Blow Up His Phone

Whatever you do, do not text him again and again without getting a response. Unless it’s a real emergency of course. Just think about if he did this to you, it looks like the other person is crazy even though it may just be that they had too much coffee right?

7. Switch it Up and Call

It’s respectful to pick up the phone and make a call to your crush sometimes. It’s actually quite healthy too. If we aren’t comfortable actually talking, we are going to have a lot of work to do in the relationship. The more you can call, the better, leave texting for times when you’re in work or school and can’t call but keep it to a minimum.

8. Ask Questions
Another rule to live by is that you should ask him questions so you don’t just talk about yourself all the time. Don’t be all about yourself or he will get bored with you very quickly. Show interest in how he is feeling and what he is doing. Get to know him with questions but not too many. Leave the real convo for your face to face interactions.

9. Be Flirty

Yes you can go ahead and flirt. There are no rules that say you shouldn’t and if you’re trying to see if he likes you back, there’s no shame in using your game girl!

10. Make A Plan To Meet In Person

What is the point of texting anyway? Is it a security blanket for us so we don’t feel alone? No! It’s just used to make plans so you can see each other that much sooner. Don’t let texting become a crutch for you and call instead of texting whenever you can!

11. Stay Positive
Try not to have any serious conversations via text because it can destroy a good relationship. There are so many ways to misconstrue and misread text messages that if you really respect someone, you will tell them all important information in person or over the phone if you can’t be in person. Texts should be positive and short.

12. Don’t Trash Talk People

I’ve seen this happen all too often when people either don’t realize they are on a group text or they accidentally text the wrong person. Guard your words about others no matter what because screenshots can ruin relationships and accidentally hitting send to the wrong person could be very damaging to someone’s self esteem. Try your best to just never trash talk people and you’ll avoid being gossipy in text messages as well.

My final word of advice is don’t be reactive in your texts and think about what you’re going to say. Don’t rush your conversations because in the art of conversations, words are valuable and they shape the direction of our relationships so choose them wisely and speak from the heart.

Gtbank In Trouble Ordered To Pay customer's Stolen 5 Billion!

Image result for gtbank
A High Court of the Federal Capital Territory in Apo, Abuja, on Monday ordered Guaranty Trust Bank Plc to refund N5.3bn illegally withdrawn from the account of one its customers, Dr. Ted Edwards. Justice Valentine Ashi, in his judgment, ordered that the N5.3bn should attract 10 per cent interest from Monday, when judgment was delivered, till the time the money was paid back to the owner.
The court also ordered that the money should attract another 21 per cent interest from December 12, 2014 when GTB allowed the illegal withdrawal, until the fund was eventually paid back to Edwards.

The judge, while reviewing the case in his judgment, held that the bank did not have any defence to its action of the withdrawal of the total sum of N5,240,516,186.21 from the customer’s account and thereby ordered the bank to pay the money to the owner through his Zenith Bank Plc account.
Edward, a lawyer of Edwards and Partners Law Firm, had initiated the suit, FCT/HC/CV/939/2015, in January 2015 following the alleged illegal withdrawal of the money on December 12, 2014.

The money was paid into the plaintiff’s law firm’s account with the GTB on January 2, 2014 by the Accountant-General of the Federation, Jonah Otunla.
The money was said to be for the settlement of a judgment got by his clients, Impecca Services Limited and His Royal Highness, Eze Ezekwo, against the Association of Local Government of Nigeria, as cost of consultancy services they rendered to the 774 local governments. But in his judgment on Monday, Justice Ashi struck out the Central Bank of Nigeria, the Accountant General of the Federation, Minister of State for Finance, Anaocha Local Government Area, and the Incorporated Trustees of ALGON from the suit as defendants on the grounds that they were not necessary parties.

The plaintiff stated, in the suit’s originating processes, that shortly after the money was paid into his account on behalf of his clients, GTB made some disbursements from the account as directed, but that he was only informed on December 12 by an official of the bank that the Central Bank of Nigeria had withdrawn the N5.3bn. He said that when he enquired from the bank why it made deduction from his account without his consent, he said GTB only insisted that the withdrawal was made in obedience to CBN directive, which it could not disobey.

Justice Ashi held in his judgment that GTB betrayed the banker-customer relationship between it and the plaintiff. The judge held that it was wrong for GTB to have made withdrawal from the customer’s account without the customer’s knowledge and consent. The judge held that GTB’s claim that it was helpless and that the withdrawal was at the instance of CBN was not tenable.

General Muhammadu Buhari has submitted to the security agencies for screening 40 names being considered for ministerial appointments .

According to Daily Post, the names were submitted by the president-elect about a week ago.

The Department of State Services, the Directorate of Military Intelligence and the National Intelligence Agency are the security agencies screening the potential ministers.

The names listed by the president-elect were mostly former PDP men who had defected to the APC, leading people to question where is the change.

The names being screened include:
Prince Olagunsoye Oyinlola, the former Osun state governor and ousted PDP national secretary;
Chief Bode Mustapha, the former PDP national auditor; an All Progressives Congress stalwart from Ogun state;
Engineer Segun Oni, the former Ekiti state governor and APC deputy national chairman (South West).

Others are Dr Kayode Fayemi, the immediate past governor of Ekiti state; Dr. Abba Ruma, a former minister for agriculture and water resources; and Chief Kanu Agabi, a former minister of justice.

The list continues with Donald Duke, a former governor of Cross River state; Governor Raji Fashola of Lagos state; and Yinka Folashade Oredola, a pharmacist from Ondo state.

Others on the list are Rotimi Akeredolu, a former gubernatorial candidate in Ondo state; Governor Chibuike Rotimi Amaechi of Rivers state; Engineer Funsho Kupolokun, a former group managing director of the Nigeria National Petroleum Corporation; Governor Rabiu Musa Kwankwanso of Kano state; and Bisola Adegbenro, a senator-elect from Ogun state.

Also on the list are Isaiah Danjuma, the son of General TY Danjuma from Taraba state; Dele Momodu, the publisher of Ovation; Kehinde Lawanson, a former executive director of First Bank; and Chief Bayo Ojo (SAN), former minister of justice.

The rest of the names will be published when security agencies confirm the names to newsmen.

Buhari ran on the platform of change but critics have asked whether working with the old guard even with a new system can guarantee change?

Tips for Starting and Engaging in a Conversation With a Girl you Like

This short write-up will effectively guide you on things you should and should not say when starting and engaging in a conversation with a girl you like.. Enjoy.

• Ask questions about her likes, dislikes and hobbies.
• Find out her opinions on some current events.
• Talk about her childhood.
• Bring up your own life stories that are meaningful, interesting and/or funny.
• Focus on talking about things the two of you have in common.

Avoid Talking About:
Politics, Money, Religion, Relationships, Family issues, Sex and Health problems.
These topics can mistakenly lead you into saying something that is offensive and will ruin all of your chances of getting a date. Try to keep things light for now.

Questions you could ask her:
• What books do you like to read?
• What do you do for fun?
• What music do you listen to?
• Do you play sports?
• What movies do you like to watch?
• Do you have siblings?
• Where did you grow up?
• Have you ever traveled abroad or plan to?
• What was your first job, your best job or your worst job?
• What do you want to be in future?
• If you won $2million, what would you do with it?
• If you could only own 5 items in life, what would those items be?
• Would you rather be rich, famous or influential?
• If you were only allowed to eat five foods and drinks on an outing, what would they be? (You can use this question to help you choose what restaurants to take her to).
• What is the best time of your life?
• Could you live life without internet and/or technology?
• Where is the best place you would like to travel to?
• Choose five people from today or in history that you would love to have an intimate conversation with.
• Who is your favorite artist or actress and why?
• If you could be any animal, which one would you be and why?
• What would you do if you had the power to become invisible?
• If your house caught fire, what would you attempt to grab?

Im not saying you should ask all these questions, but once you stick to these questions, they will surely open the doorway to some good topics that the two of you can talk about. You can try to think up your own too, but don't make them too intimate.

The Judases who betrayed Jonathan and Nigeria are still at work.

The traitors who plotted Goodluck Jonathan’s fall with the most fanatically irresponsible followership I have ever seen anywhere in Africa are determined to make this new beginning for our beloved country a stillbirth. They are joking We are here to crack their stubborn coconut heads They blocked the civic process, blocked patriotism, emptied citizenship of dignity, turned the contract between leader and follower to a Dionysian rite and decreed that the only way they would allow the rest of us to be Nigerians was through an unconditional acceptance of a democratic President as a “kabiyesi”.

“Ka bi e si” – literally means that mere mortals cannot question the man on that throne because he is alase ekeji orisa (owner and wielder of authority, body double of the Orisas) They convinced Jonathan he was a Kabiyesi, a body double of the Orisas. They turned his head, skewed his mind, and made a monster of an ordinarily good man. While in power, these followers looked at Nelson Mandela, Martin Luther King, Lee Kuan Yew, Barack Obama, and decreed that at worst, Jonathan was their equal, at best, he was better than all of them combined. In doing that they betrayed Nigeria. For your responsibility as a citizen is to our country and not to a God created by a personality cult.

You’d think that what happened yesterday would cause them to pause, ponder, and sober up.

For where?

They have doubled down, arrogant losers that they are. Now, they say Mandela, MLK, Yew, and Obama are even too small for their Orisa who must now win the Mo Ibrahim Prize (for good governance!) the Nobel Prize for Peace, and then be rewarded with the position of UN Secretary-General! They are determined to deceive and separate this man from reality to the very end. What did GEJ ever do to them? Now it would be funny and amusing if they limited this idiocy to their own circuits of sorry-ass sore loserhood.

No, humility is not in their DNA. They have fanned across the land since yesterday, intimidating and bullying all the Buharists who worked so hard for yesterday’s hard-earned victory.

I have witnessed elections in many African countries.

I have witnessed elections in France and Britain. I have witnessed elections in the United States and Canada. Never in my life have I seen a situation where election losers determine post-election atmospherics and the behaviour of the country! These losers in Nigeria are pregnant and nursing a baby.

First they started guilt-tripping the victorious Buharists – who fell for their rubbish – by insisting on magnanimity in victory. Then they continued the intimidation by criminalizing anybody who did not join in the immediate nonsense of lionizing the post-election status of Goodluck Jonathan. Many Buharists allowed themselves to be led on a leash by these irresponsible sore losers.

If you are a Buharist on this train, get off immediately. You are forgetting one thing. Your magnanimity as a winner must come from you, evolve from your heart, not prompted by the say-so of arrogant losers. Your magnanimity must come after one thing has happened. The losers must have acknowledged the victory of your candidate and warmed up to it in a grand act of post-electoral reconciliation and sportsmanship.

Goodluck Jonathan did this and I thank and commend him for it. Not Nobel-level act but class act. You cannot take that away from him. Unfortunately, many of the overzealous followers who destroyed him have not received the memo of class-act sportsmanly loserhood from their principal. Many of these characters have refused to acknowledge Buhari’s victory.

On the contrary, they have continued to demonize him, call him names, while insisting that you, Buharist, recognize Jonathan as Nigeria’s new Nobel Peace Laureate and UN Secretary-General, positions he will hold only temporarily till they demote Angel Gabriel from heaven and replace him with Goodluck Jonathan. What arrogance! What hubris! And many of you, Buharists, are falling for this nonsense. Stop it! If anybody who has not accepted Buhari’s victory and congratulated him comes near your Facebook wall or Twitter space to bully and heehaw you with commandments of magnanimity, asking you to lionize Jonathan, take your koboko and whip the heck out of his unteachable Jonathanian ass.

One idiot came to my Wall this morning to post nonsense about Buhari the Jihadist. I deleted his comment and blocked his ass. One woke up yesterday and opened a silly thread on his Wall asking people to name the Judas Iscariot who betrayed Goodlluck Jonathan. It was an open season on Yoruba people as traitors (to be fair, he condemned ethnic bashing) until my brother, Ayo Turton , entered the thread with his koboko and cracked some coconut heads. Because they are always supremely blind to irony, the owner of the said thread does not know how to stand in front of a mirror. He would have seen the model of the Judas who betrayed Goodluck Jonathan with robotic, unpatriotic, unquestioning followership which blinded the man to reality because they never told him the truth. It is the sort of followership that would make a President not know that he had a diplomatic row with another country. These are the Judases who betrayed GEJ and betrayed Nigeria.

Another one woke up this morning from whatever he has been sniffing after the defeat yesterday to declare imperiously that Buhari would not have congratulated Jonathan bla bla bla and more bla. Buhari demonizing extravaganza. Is this the sort of arrogant sore loserhood that will dictate the post-election atmospherics for the rest of us? Since when have losers dictated such things for victors? We will not tolerate this. Lookia, you Buharist. I knew what I was saying when I said we shall forgive only the forgivable among them and unforgive the unforgivable recidivists among them.

Buhari is their next President, not you. He is the one who must reach out to them and provide leadership for all of us, not you. It is not in your place to babysit their gargantuan egos. It is not in your place to babysit their sore loserhood. Either they wallow in it or they snap out of it – that is their funeral. If they are determined not to let us move forward, it is your job not to hang your koboko. What we must be ready to do is forge a coalition of the willing and work for Nigeria with reasonable Jonathanians who have shown great sportsmanship by first acknowledging the victory of our man and congratulating us. Those are the ones who can elicit sentiments of magnanimity in victory and generosity of spirit from us – not these arrogant ones who are bullying everybody with their sore loserhood.

The new Nigeria we are all going to work our asses to build must be for all. But that Nigeria will also be Oja Oyingbo. Trust me, these two statements are not mutually exclusive. You will not force the language of reconciliation and magnanimity on me while you are at work, busy as ever abusing and demonizing Buhari all over the place. Until I rid your head of lice My finger nails shall remain drenched in blood.

Enu e lawa yi.

Is D’Banj Having Oral Intercourse With This Female Fan on Stage? – PHOTO

A photo from D’Banj’s 10th year anniversary in Lagos last month just emerged and is buzzing on social media. The photo shows Banga Lee performing a stage with a female fan appearing to be giving me ‘head’ while he is on stage.

The female fan looked to have her tongue out from the angle the photo was taken with D’Banj having no problem with the part of his body she is reaching for – afterall he is the Koko Master.

This is not the first time the DB Records chief will be getting raunchy on stage with his female fans, no wonder they love him so much. In other related news, D’Banj was on set with his artiste, Tonto Dikeh for a video shoot earlier today. They shot the video for Sugar Rush. Peep set photos here

Mayhem in Lagos: Four Killed, 27 Vehicles Destroyed in Gang War (Photos)

Pandemonium broke out in the Mosafejo, Oshodi-Isale area of Lagos State, after rival groups said to be members of the National Union of Road Transport Workers, clashed on Tuesday evening and early Wednesday.

Four people were reportedly killed, while several others were injured in the fracas which was stopped after the intervention of security agencies.

PUNCH Metro gathered that no fewer than 15 commercial buses were set on fire, while 12 others were vandalized. Makeshift stalls in the Mosafejo Motor Park were also torched, leaving traders in the park mourning their losses.

When PUNCH Metro visited the scene of the incident on Wednesday, the atmosphere was still tense as men of the Nigeria Police Force and some soldiers were observed patrolling the area. The motor park, usually filled with vehicles, was deserted as the police armor tanks and patrol vans took over the space.

Broken bottles, shards of glass from shattered windscreens and pebbles, said to have been deployed by some of the hoodlums during the fight, littered the road. Bloodstains dotted the Oshodi Roundabout, where a man was said to have been shot dead and his corpse taken away by the police. A vehicle was still burning as of 1pm when our correspondent passed the area.

Around the same time, a police van manned by police officers was observed by our correspondent taking some teenagers away.

A source told PUNCH Metro that the fight involved three groups ─ Big London boys, Railway boys and Under-bridge boys.

The source, who spoke on condition of anonymity, said the fight started after the police ordered that there should be a stop in hemp smoking in the motor park.

The move was said to have been supported by the Big London boys, which brought them in conflict with the Railway and Under-bridge gangs who saw them as an ally of the police.

She said,:
“That was the beginning of the fight. The Railway boys and the Under-bridge boys usually conspire to wage war against the Big London boys which also had Olu Omo as a leading member.
Yesterday (Tuesday), the allied gangs struck again and killed four people. One particularly was popular here and we call him Afari. A man was shot in the eye, another in the hand and leg. Several others are in critical conditions in hospitals.” Another witness, who did not identify herself, said one Idris was cut with machete in the buttocks, leg and hand.

“No one knows if he will survive the attack because his condition is critical,” she said. When PUNCH Metro crossed over to the area where the Under-bridge and Railway groups had their camp, he met some of the men who alleged that the fight was sponsored by the Big London gang.

“It was around 11pm on Tuesday that they came here. They were many in the Big London group. They had the police backing them and they want to drive us away from here. They descended on our vehicles and set many of them ablaze which you can see for yourself.
They shot and injured three of our people, who have been rushed to hospital. We don’t know why they are after us and this fight could have been bloodier, but we decided to be calm,” a man in the group, who did not identify himself, said. Another member of the group, who equally declined identification, showed our correspondent an injury he sustained in his hand.

He said, “They shot at so many of us. This was where I was shot. Those guys were many. They shot at about 100 of us and burnt many buses.”

Some of the traders, whose stalls were burnt, appealed for government’s intervention. Mrs. Taiwo Olajide, a mother of three and dealer in soft drinks, said she lost all her goods to the violence.

She said, “The hoodlums set fire on all the stalls in this park. They have ruined our business. This is where I feed my children and keep body and soul together.”

Another trader, Mrs. Josephine Eze, said all her provisions were burnt.

Our correspondent also observed a cross-section of traders who were seated in front of their shops, which were not affected by the fracas.

They lamented that they had not been able to operate their business since the area was cordoned off by the police.

The Police Public Relations Officer, Kenneth Nwosu, while confirming the incident, said one person was killed, adding that the police recovered some weapons from the hoodlums.

He said:

“There was an attempt to breach the peace at Oshodi. The hoodlums, who were rival members of the NURTW, engaged in a fight of supremacy over control of parks. In the process, about eight vehicles were burnt and 10 vandalised. One person was killed. Five cutlasses and four expended cartridges were recovered. Normalcy has been restored as adequate security has been made to avert any further breach of the peace.” Nwosu added that the police arrested nine suspects in connection with the crime.

Meanwhile, the Chairman of the Lagos State Council of the NURTW, Alhaji Tajudeen Agbede, has said the union will unravel the cause of incessant violent clashes in Oshodi.

BUHARI IN LONDON

Pictured above are General Buhari and Mal Mamman Daura taking a stroll on the streets of London.
APC says Buhari travelled out of the country on Thursday, February 19, for a ‘brief working visit’, however, according to Ekiti State Governor, Mr Ayodele Fayose, Gen Buhari traveled out on Thursday to seek medicare in UK and he was attended to at a hospital located in Cavendish Street, Cavendish Square, W2 London West End, London on Friday. Read the statement he just released when you continue.

Ekiti State Governor, Mr Ayodele Fayose has said that the APC presidential candidate, Major General Mohammadu Buhari (rtd) who travelled to the United Kingdom (UK) for medical treatment is being attended to at a London hospital, describing the medical trip as a vindication of his earlier stand that Buhari was sick and lacked the required capacity to rule Nigeria.

He said; "as against the claim of the APC that Bihari was on a short working visit to the UK, Buhari is being treated at a hospital located at Cavendish Street, Cavendish Square, W2 London West End, London."

Speaking through his Special Assistant on Public Communications and New Media, Lere Olayinka, the governor described claim by the APC that Buhari will give a talk at the Royal Institute of International Affairs, Chatham House, London as "deceit taken too far."

He said; "The event listed on Royal Institute of International Affairs website; http:// www.chathamhouse.org/events to hold on February 23 and 24 is; 'Security and Defence: Rising powers and the future of defence cooperation' and Buhari’s name is not listed among the speakers.

"For the avoidance of doubt; the event's keynote speakers are; former Brazil Minister of Defence, Celsius Amorin; UK Parliamentary Under Secretary of State and Minister of Defence Equipment Support and Technology, Celsius Amorin; Chief of the Defence Staff, UK Ministry of Defence, General Sir Nicholas Houghton; Chief Executive of BAE System, Ian King and Secretary General, Cooperation Council for the Arab States of the Gulf, Dr Abdulatif Bin Rashid Al Zayani.

"Apart from the above listed five persons, 25 others are listed as speakers.
"So, in which Royal Institute of International Affairs' event is Buhari participating as a speaker?

"This is not to mock Buhari or which him death. Rather, it is to expose the falsehood of the APC and desperation of its leaders, especially Senator Bola Tinubu to foist another Yar’Adua saga on Nigeria."

The governor maintained; "The truth is that Buhari travelled out on Thursday to seek medicare in UK and he was attended to at a hospital located in Cavendish Street, Cavendish Square, W2 London West End, London on Friday.
"If the APC people are saying otherwise, let them publish the picture of Buhari boarding the plane and granting interview to Aviation Correspondents at the Abuja Airport.

"While I am happy that the APC people that are packaging Buhari finally hearkened to my plea that they should allow him (Buhari) to seek medicare abroad, I must say that it is unpatriotic for the APC to have lied that Buhari travelled on a working visit.

"The party should be honest enough to tell Nigerians that Buhari is actually sick and lack capacity to rule Nigeria and that they are only packaging him, hoping that he will become incapacitated if he becomes president so that they can take over power by proxy.

President Jonathan Aides Secretly File 5 More Cases To Stop Buhari and INEC, Totaling 10

President Goodluck Jonathan, Buhari and INECThe number of cases filed by President Goodluck Jonathan aiming to abort the 2015 election has increased to 10, according to SaharaReporters investigations.

Of this number, three are targeted at stopping the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) from conducting the elections.

One of the latest cases was filed directly by the Attorney General of Plateau State and 28 others, seeking an order of the Federal High Court to prevent INEC from using the electoral register recently updated using Personal Voter Cards. The suit, titled Plateau State Government & 28 others V INEC, wants the commission to use the same voter register that was used in 2011.

Plateau State Governor, Jonah Jang, is President Jonathan’s Man Friday who heads the President’s faction of the Nigeria Governors Forum.

Other cases were filed by:
Selekaye Victor Ben, and targets the Presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress party, Muhammad Buhari and the Nigerian Army. Filed on February 11, the case seeks an order of the court to strip Buhari of all military entitlements and another order that would put Buhari under arrest.

“Presidential View and Endorsement Platform”, led by one Barrister Smart Iheazor, combines both Buhari and INEC. It contends that Buhari’s name on the West African School Certificate certificate recently released by his school in Katsina is different from his current name.

Sergin Onuka Ibe, accusing Buhari of filing a false deposition with INEC; he seeks an order barring INEC and the APC from fielding Buhari as candidate in the 2015 election.

An unspecified litigant, who accuses Buhari of being in possession of a false party card in which he claims to be a “civil servant”.

Barrister Friday Ojealaro, claiming that Buhari is not clear and unambiguous, and should be disqualified;

Shield Jones Ufot V Buhari, filing a criminal complaint against Buhari before a Magistrate court in Abuja

Chukwunweike Okafor, against Buhari, APC and INEC, arguing that Buhari be disqualified and APC name struck out from partaking in the general election.

“Society for Advancement And Protection of Public Rights”, which asks the court to disallow the use of card readers and nullify the ongoing continuous voter registration; and

Philip Agbese against INEC, seeking postponement of the the elections until PVCs are provided to all registered voters.

SaharaReporters has further learnt that these cases were mostly assigned to one Justice Adeniyi Ademola at the Federal High Court in Abuja. It is unclear why all the cases have been handed to one judge, but Justice Ademola is believed to be working hand in hand with President Jonathan to spring a surprise.

Justice Gabriel Kolawole of the same court had earlier received some of the cases but our sources said the President’s men wrote a petition against him.

CBN's New Policy On Dormant Bank Accounts

Nigeria’s apex bank, Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN), has introduced new guidelines for the treatment and management of dormant accounts by commercial banks.

According to Punch, the objectives of the policy is to ensure that dormant account funds are identified and channeled through appropriate institutions to make them more productive to the economy and eliminate the possibility of banks converting dormant account balances to income.

In a circular released and signed by the CBN’s Director, Financial Policy and Regulation Department, Mr. Kevin Amugo yesterday, the regulatory bank stated that the absence of clear guidelines for the management of dormant accounts had resulted in the disproportionate treatment of such account balances by deposit-taking financial institutions.

The circular read,
“It is in view of the above and the imperative to promote transparency in the financial system that the CBN hereby issues these guidelines to provide a standard for the treatment and management of dormant account balances in Nigeria.

“The purpose of the policy is to curb possible abuse in the operation of dormant accounts, set operational standards for banks and other financial institutions in line with best practice, and to reinforce the property rights as guaranteed in the 1999 Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria (as amended).

“A dormant account shall be a bank account that has no customer or depositor originated transaction within a specified period of six years after the last customer or depositor initiated a transaction. However, such an account shall be recognised as inactive after the first six months of non-depositor or customer originated transaction in it.”

The CBN further said, “Accounts shall retain their interest earning status during the period of dormancy in the bank. Deposit-taking financial institutions shall continue to monitor accounts that show tendencies of inactivity and where necessary, initiate actions for their activation or protection from wrong usage.

“Once dormant accounts exceed a six-year period, they shall be reported to the CBN along with efforts made by the obligor bank to locate the owners or their personal representatives.”

With the new policy, three months to the end of the six years, both the account holder and the next-of-kin would be notified, then, the re-validation of inactive/dormant accounts would not attract any charge to the account holder as the banks would have made ample use of the idle funds.

The statement said,

“Dormant account balances shall continue to be reflected in the books of banks as deposit liabilities until they are eventually withdrawn by the account holders or disposed of on their instructions. Dormant account balances shall, therefore, be regarded as deposits and shall be covered by deposit insurance.

“In the case of government-owned inactive/dormant accounts, banks shall notify the relevant government agency of their existence, with periodic returns of such notification sent to Banking Supervision Department. Banks are also required to turn over the funds to the concerned treasury after six years of inactivity.

“The provisions of the guidelines shall take immediate effect. Sanctions for contravention of the provisions of the guidelines shall be imposed under Section 60 of the BOFIA (1991) as amended,” the CBN said.

‘Spiritual attack forced my son into robbery - Mother(Photo)

A middle- aged mother of four sent shock waves into the the spines of police detectives in Lagos recently, when, on seeing her first son being paraded as a suspected armed robber, she broke down and started crying out loud, telling everybody that cared to listen that his son could not have, ordinarily, done any bad thing.

According to her,

‘’He went into robbery after having spiritual attack. As a mother, I have done all I could to make sure that Taiwo becomes useful to himself. After his father died, I tried my best with the little I had to ensure that he completed his secondary school education. After that, I enrolled him in a printing outfit as an apprentice. He was attached to his boss for about a year and six months when he stopped. That was when I began to notice these despicable behaviours of his.

‘’I started with prayers, no result. I took him to various native doctors and prayer homes for deliverance yet, nothing changed. Rather, he got worse by the day. He has not always been like this, which is why I strongly believe this is the work of the enemy to render my son useless in life. I have never collected anything from him because I know the source of anything that comes through him is not clean. Even when he buys a gift for me, I reject it because I am strongly against his way of life. ‘’

Confessing to the crime, Taiwo Oluwole said:
"I am an armed robber and I have participated in several robbery operations. I started out as a pick-pocket, later I started breaking into people’s houses and stealing their valuables. Thereafter I graduated into full-fledged armed robbery two years ago. I bought the gun from Segun Ogunlodo. He sold the gun to me for N18, 000.
"I really can’t explain why or how I went into robbery, because after my secondary education, I went to learn printing for a year and six months but I didn’t complete my apprenticeship.

Completion of apprenticeship
I can’t explain why I stopped, because there was no reason. I later became a labourer. I strongly believe that it was a spiritual attack that led me into armed robbery.
“My mother has taken me to several churches, prayer houses and native doctors for deliverance yet nothing changed. I plead with the government to tender justice with mercy, I promise not to continue in my old ways once I come out of this alive,’’ he stated amidst tears.

Other suspects speak

‘’I was arrested at Mushin area, and about six phones were recovered from me. I bought the stolen phones from Taiwo. I knew they were stolen items. I started buying and selling stolen items like phones and laptops from guys like Taiwo since 2011. I was arrested after Taiwo was caught. In his defence, 26-year-old Segun Ogunlodo, aka Sangbere, said he was arrested because he sold a gun to Taiwo as he had no need for it. I got the gun from my brother who is currently serving a jail term in a Cotonou prison for armed robbery related crimes.’’
